As title says Im looking for an addon that mainly tracks how much gold I have on my different characters. Also wouldnt mind if it shows weekly cap progress etc, but I want it to be minimalistic and not alter ui/bags etc.
I used one I found on Curse called Realm Gold. it just keeps a track of how much gold I have across all my characters on that server. I have it set up so it only shows when I open my bags, and it appears between the bag and the ui below it.
I use Elvui as my UI so I just need to look here \\World of Warcraft_retail_\\WTF\\Account\\xxxxxx#x\\Silvermoon and it list all my alts on that realm. I can then choose which one to delete and it will reset the gold data. If I deleted a toon it will then remove the information from my realm currency and I wont see it again. I try to be addon light as possible.
For someone with the same issue. The file should be in your WoW folder, exactly in _retail_/WTF/Account/accountname/SavedVariables.You want to rename your old DataStore_Characters.lua in DataStore_Characters.lua.old (or something similar) and create a copy of it so you can restore it when needed. You now can open the file (not the copied one) delete characters from that file (beware not to delete parts of the code from other characters) or delete the whole file and:log into WoW, open Altoholic and click on the book icon in the upper right corner and choose: Reset all dataNow all your characters are no longer shown, but logging off and into each of them again solves that.
SimpleGold creates a small, movable window showing your current money. This new version also shows a tooltip with a gold summary for all of your characters.Shift-clicking on the window will cycle through different background colors/transparencies.Mousing over the window will display a tooltip with the gold for each character you have on this realm, as well as the total for all the characters.* Note * You must log into each character at least once to have it's gold registered with the addon. Why would you want thisYou just want to keep an eye on your gold!Perhaps you want to modify your interface - this provides a nice little money panel. Why did _I_ make thisBecause I built a nice UI using other addons, but I wanted a little money display. Now I have one!Commands:/simplegold to bring up more information./simplegold show - shows the window./simplegold hide - hides the window./simplegold lock - locks the window and prevents dragging./simplegold unlock - unlocks the window and allows dragging./simplegold delete {Character Name} - removes the named character from the list (useful after deleting or transferring a character.)Thanks to Sysop Meeanda for the color update for WoW Client 7.3.
The Player Gold Chat in the Dashboard is a record of the total gold on-hand across the characters selected in the dropdown marked (1). You can filter the chart in two ways, firstly by selecting the pre-defined timeframe as marked (2), or by left-clicking on the chart area and dragging from the desired starting and ending point. After doing so, there will be a 'Reset Zoom' in the top right.
Accountant addon basically tracks your income and expenses in warcraft, including your sales from the Auction house. It also keeps track of the amount you receive or spend on vendor items, taxi fares, direct trade with another character, mailing costs, and other sources. It also tracks how much gold you have in total, across all your characters.
Piggy Bank. The Cache feature allows you to hide a certain amount of gold from the addon. This could be used if you had 100,000g and wanted to keep 80,000g aside, and only use 20,000g to trade. You would type 80,000g into the cache, which hides it from view, but does not change your actual amount in hand. You could then see how much gold you had earned using only the 20,000g as your working cash amount.
Bagnon: Bagnon is an addon that turns all of your bags into one giant bag which you can customize in many ways by hitting the gear icon at the top right corner. You can also view other characters bags and golds instead of logging between characters.

You will need to TSM addon for the Loot Appraiser to function properly. This addon is one of the most important addons for gold farming and transmog farming due to the fact you can calculate roughly how much an item is worth.

Gold makes the world of Azeroth turn. Everyone wants to be swimming in gold. Mounts need to be purchased, gear needs repaired, new transmog gear needs to be bought, and so much more. If you are serious about making money, the auction house is one of the premium ways to do so. If you want to greatly succeed, an auction house addon will do you wonders!
TomTom is a very simple addon that acts as navigational support for certain waypoints or quest objectives. Although there are many addons similar to it, TomTom is unique in the sense that it places a floating arrow at the top of your screen guiding, you all the way to your final point of destination, ensuring that you never get lost in those random dead-spots that are especially common in Shadowlands. On top of that, TomTom also gives you precise coordinates for basically every zone/area in WoW.
Scrap is a miniscule addon that solves a big problem. You know how all WoW players are used to just CTRL+SHIFT-ing their way through dead mobs as a way to speed up the looting process And you know how most of the time you will get some stupid commons that you just wish you could sell right away Well, Scrap is the perfect solution.
ou Covenant Mission helper is a great way to maximize your chances of successfully completing missions by optimizing your troops in order to increase their overall damage and minimize their HP loss. The addon also shows you your estimated success rate, which can be a nice way to avoid your companions' certain death.
Mapster is another simple but very useful addon, which modifies the world map so that it appears without necessarily being in its full scale. Since you no longer have to be in full-screen mode when opening your world map. This can be especially effective when farming for world resources like mining nodes, herbs, or skinning material Perhaps the best feature of Mapster is its ability to remove the fog of war status from different zones. You will know exactly where to go and what terrain surrounds these areas if you are unable to fly, essentially allowing you to bypass certain dead-zones which you do not want to run into. Just remember to turn this addon off when farming the Explorer achievement, since you won't know which zone/area may or may not be discovered.
The addon also lets you keybind your spells by simply hovering over them, making it really easy to switch between buttons should the need arise. Its flexibility is key, and that is why Bartender fits so perfectly well with interface changing addons like LUI or ELVui. You can also choose to show specific button elements like Macrotexts or hotkeys.

Bagnon is a highly useful addon that replaces the traditional bag interface of the game. It is designed to organize all your bags into one, making it much easier and faster for you to find specific items that may occasionally get lost when using the traditional Blizzard interface. Bagnon also allows you to reorganize your bags according to item quality with just one click of a button.

You may adjust it so that you can see damage/healing done in certain segments or collectively, ultimately breaking down every sequence of events and allowing you to see just how effective each of your spells are. You can also see other player statistics by simply hovering your mouse over their name tab.
